Product and Domestic Freight
Item cost includes the product price and any domestic delivery charge from the seller to the Lovegobuy warehouse. Keep that domestic charge separate when comparing listings.
Start the budget with the dated item-price estimate on a card, then record the actual seller price and domestic freight when available. Use separate rows for international delivery and other charges. This guide builds that cost record; the parcel guide covers the submission steps.
International Shipping
International freight depends on the destination, shipping method and chargeable weight. The estimator asks for weight, item category and parcel dimensions as well as the destination.
For routes that use dimensional weight, packaging size can affect the billed amount. Calculate it using length × width × height divided by the selected route’s specified divisor, with that route’s required units. Check how actual and dimensional weight are compared for billing.
When comparing quotes, hold the destination, contents and packing assumptions constant. A lighter estimate without a shoe box is not directly comparable with a packed-box quote that includes it. Note what changed before deciding that one route is cheaper.
Combined and Separate Parcels
Combining items can reduce repeated starting-weight and per-parcel charges, but that does not establish the cheapest option for every shipment. Compare the available combined and separate quotes using the packed dimensions and route limits.
Compare the sum of all separate parcels with the complete combined quote. Include selected packing services consistently in both versions. When considering another low-priced item, record the extra cost it introduces rather than assuming that a small item price makes it an economical addition.
Additional Charges
Include the conversion and recharge charges shown for your payment. Add selected services and any declaration or handling charge separately. A parcel-handling charge does not establish that destination import charges are covered.
Use the current order and shipping screens for the payable amount. A sample route price, another buyer’s parcel cost or an earlier quote does not price your shipment.
Keep a simple budget record with separate columns for estimated, paid and still payable amounts. Update the shipping estimate when packed details become available. This helps prevent counting a recharge and the purchase made from that balance as two separate product costs.
Worked Example: Recording the Order Budget
Illustrative amounts in USD, not current Lovegobuy charges: an item costs $30, seller-to-warehouse delivery is $4, international delivery is assumed to be $22, and other selected charges are assumed to be $3. The example subtotal is $30 + $4 + $22 + $3 = $59. Any unknown destination charges remain a separate unresolved line.
If the item and domestic delivery have already been paid, record $34 as paid and $25 as still estimated or payable. The subtotal remains $59; it is not $59 plus the earlier $34. Likewise, topping up $60 and then spending from that balance does not create an additional $60 product cost. Replace each assumed amount with the actual order or parcel figure as it becomes available.
